Experience the mesmerizing fusion of Flamenco, Latin, Jazz, and Persian influences in Babak Amini’s music project. Immerse yourself in the artistry of guitar-oriented original compositions, expertly performed by his talented professional band.

Based in Toronto, Babak Amini is an accomplished Iranian-Canadian musician and composer, renowned for his musical direction and leadership in iconic projects, including collaborations with Googoosh, Ebi, Faramarz Aslani, Shahin Najafi, and most recently, Jorge Pardo, the esteemed Flamenco flute and sax maestro who was a key member of Paco de Lucía’s and Chick Corea’s bands.
With a diverse discography and collaborations with notable artists like Rana Mansour, Siamak Shirazi, Navan, Darya Dadvar, Sara Hamidi, and more, Babak Amini continues to captivate audiences with his profound musical journey.

Babak is joined by well-known musicians Ehsan Omidi: Bass, Marito Marques: Percussions, Marus Ali: Flute and Sax, and flamenco dancer Sofi Gudiño.

Sofi Gudiño is a dance artist and founder of Inamorata Dance Collective. Raised in flamenco and established in contemporary dance, Sofi’s work is marked by emotional intensity and choreographic risk. Gudiño began her flamenco studies as a child at the Academy of Spanish Dance with Esmeralda Enrique, and has since continued in Spain with Úrsula López, Alicia Márquez, Pastora Galván, Ramón Martínez, Lorena Franco and Susana Casas. As a choreographer, Gudiño has enjoyed residencies at The Toronto Dance Theatre, The Chimera Project Company B Lab, and Dancemakers.
