Inspired by the diversity and fluidity of the many musical influences of Iran, the Amir Amiri Ensemble creates an engaging and distinctive sound fusing the refinement of traditional and spiritual Persian music with folkloric and modern elements.

Festival to present a festive evening of world music, bringing Ukrainian klezmer sensations Kommuna Lux to Vancouver, with a rousing, danceable concert event. This award-winning music collective performs in their own unique style, which they call "Odessa Gangsta Folk" - thrilling klezmer music and common gangster folk songs from their hometown.
JEREMY LEDBETTER TRIO – Latin Jazz Trio
Forged in a cauldron of raging, inspiring contemporary jazz, the Jeremy Ledbetter Trio pushes the boundaries of jazz and world music, providing an undiluted display of rampaging energy and captivating musicianship. Joined by Grammy-winning drummer Larnell Lewis of Snarky Puppy and renowned electric bassist Rich Brown, who offer the perfect counterpart to Ledbetter’s iconoclastic energy at the piano. This is a group very much at home tackling intricate lines and rhythms, drawing from jazz, rock, funk and varied Latin genres.
